Ofsted's last inspection of the school was in January, 2024, in which the school was rated as GOOD in all areas and, therefore, GOOD overall. “The school provides many rich experiences, both within the curriculum and outside normal school hours. The outdoor learning environment is a real asset. It gives all pupils many opportunities to build independence and broaden their experiences.”

SIAMS (Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools)
Compton's latest SIAMS inspection was in March 2022, when the school was rated 'Good' and the inspectors concluded:
"The school’s Christian vision for everyone to ‘live life in all its fullness’ underpins all aspects of school life. The school community talk enthusiastically about the vision and the associated values and the way in which they are shaping a deeply inclusive culture."
